you guys realize the "no lift shift" will NOT be like the power shift we're used to, lol the ecm will momentarily shut the throttle when the clutch is pushed in, no manufacturer, especially Ford would ever do it any other way


That's not accurate. Chevrolet is currently doing it. Both the camaro and corvette have a no lift shift that does not close the throttle. It is basically like using a 2 step while moving.

Spot on, this is how no lift shifts work. They activate a soft (non fuel cut) rev limiter that you can bounce off of if you happen to not be quick enough on the shift. The throttle most certainly does not shut.
