Have 2016 GT w/PP, curious what I can install to have the car handle better, like steering response. My 2005 G35 steering was very touchy and responsive. I've been eyeballing the Steeda catalog that came with my clutch spring and itching to get something. Thanks!

1. What is your budget?
2. How much, if any lowering are you comfortable with?
3. What are your goals (better and balanced street performance/canyon carver, autocross or HPDE)?

No budget at the moment, just thinking about simple additions. I would like better road/street handling. Not sure about lowering, I would like to but not sure how the warranty comes into play.

I would recommend Steeda Progressive for daily driving and limited track use. If you go a step up then our Ultralite springs would be a good option.

Both spring sets will lower your S550 approx. 1"

If you're unsure about lowering, I would upgrade your struts and shocks with your existing springs, either the Steeda Pro-Action Fixed or FRPP Track Handling dampers, as well as stabilizing the IRS subframe with either the BMR CB005 or Steeda's subframe support system + subframe braces. There's a ton of other things out there, but those will make a very significant improvement to handling without degrading ride quality or practicality in any way.

I think the CB005 will degrade ride quality a little bit. Stabilizing the cradle will add a little bit of harshness but not in any significant way.

I would suggest BMR performance springs with your PP shocks and the BMR CB005. This will improve your handling without beating you up. I would echo BmacIL in suggesting Steeda Pro Actions - lot of folks really enjoy them.

Be careful not to go too far ! I've done just that and experience significant NVH increases. But I have gotten used to it and love it now. But I think for most ppl my setup is overkill. Very easy to throw parts at it without knowing the consequences.

If you want steering response, I'd start with an good alignment and set your front toe to 0.

Just noticed you are in our backyard!

Feel free to swing by and we can go over options.

I usually start people off with a nice set of lowering springs, CB005 and some solid alignment specs and go from there.

Also, we do give a really nice 20% discount if you pay cash too.

Yeah I thought I saw BMR somewhere local, not too far about 25 mins. I will be in touch, plus I like that 20% cash discount.

If BMR's shop was near me, I would have been there at the drop of a hat.

I am always working with all the local guys. Heck, my house has become a tech center for the S550 Tampa guys as of late. They come and grab parts from me (I bring parts home almost every night for people) so they can save time and money....and it ends up turning into them coming over all the time. haha!

I am up in Odessa...if you are close by, lets get together sometime!

Probably not because they still have to run it through a service which still takes x% from the sale :(

I'd say that LCA bearing and FR knuckle bearing, plus CB005 are the absolute must for any car even you don't want dampers and springs.

You're near BMR, get those two bearings done...you're over the hill on the most annoying factor, installation.
