So for those that like the engine cover, this may not be for you. For the rest like me, my first mod was to remove the engine cover. Now what to do with the emblem?
I decided I could find a better spot for it. So how to remove and reinstall? First, the engine cover 5.0 emblem is thin aluminum, it bends super easy so to remove you must be very careful, do not use a screwdriver or anything metal, I used a small plastic putty style knife. Slide in as flat as you can from top and bottom, about halfway across the height of the emblem. This will release the adhesive. DO NOT pry up or you will bend the emblem. Peel the old adhesive off the back by rolling your thumbs across it, it will pill up, then you can pick it off. I used a couple layers of 3M emblem adhesive tape cut to fit the back. Sanded the spot a little just to rough up the mounting surface. Clean with alcohol prior to attaching. You can get your fingers under the radiator cover to apply pressure, but not too much pressure, this thing will bend just by looking at wrong.
