Before I start yanking thing and breaking things, what's the procedure to remove the engine cover? Going to paint it in a few weeks, thought it ask.
Coil covers just pop up, correct? Should I put something under it to pry them up?

Everything just pops off. Be careful when popping off the intake manifold cover if you have a strut brace over it and maybe throw a shop towel over the back half of it because the K-brace is right there. I put a small scratch in mine because of the K-brace but it was no big deal.

The motor actually doesn't look too bad without the cover.

Just pull straight upwards, ball and socket joint easy to remove. Your coil covers attach the same way.

I want to paint a few details on mine. What type of paint should I use. First Mustang I've ever owned being wanting one since I was 14

Ecoboost cover just pops off too?
Its held on by 2 bolts and 2 nuts-- 8mm and 10mm-- I can only imagine how techs feel pulling that on and off on flat rate. I painted mine and you can really hear the turbo whine with it off.
