New Owner!!! Woo!!

Just curious what tires you guys are running, particularly for the stock wheel setups?

I just bought my 2019 GT350, and the original owner has replaced the rears with Nitto NT555r's which are coming to need replacing pretty soon. Being that they're on backorder, and Toyo R888R's only come in a 30 sidewall for the 19's, I was wondering what yall have opted for.

This will primarily be my weekend car, with some spirited highway runs here and there with some occasional laps at the track/strip.

There are many threads out there discussing tires, but if you’d like to stay stock size and don’t really plan to seriously track the car then Pilot Super Sports are probably your best bet for a good mixture of traction and longevity.

If you’re willing to go with a slightly lower profile and a slightly larger wheel well gap, many guys are running 30 series tires successfully on stock rims. Lots of great options for the 30 series, including PS4’s.

I primarily track my car, so I run cup 2’s in dry/moderate rain, and Super sports in moderate/heavy rain on track. If I stopped tracking the car, I would go with stock size super sports full time.

Congrats on the purchase, and happy reading! Lots of great tire info on the site.

I daily mine, so Mich AS4 285/40R19 squared up for my daily tires, Mich PSS 295 & 305/35R19 for summer and track use, and Pirelli Winter Sotozeros 285/40R19 squared for winter. My winter tires are on SVE R350s though.

... I really need to move someplace warm lol
