Damn, I had told my misses it was a fanny clamp …That's to hold ur nuts in place while you accelerate really hard...
I like your thinking. I hadn't thought about it being something from the assembly process.Looks like some sort of prop, but can't tell from the photo how big it is. I'll take a shot in the dark and likely be way off - Does that part on top match the size of the striker on the hood, trunk, or doors? And if so, could it be from the assembly line rather than transportation?
As yours is a slightly different design to mine, I would guess that it’s either related to A) LHD v RHD or B) GT350 v GT ?I like your thinking. I hadn't thought about it being something from the assembly process.
Oooh interesting. Is it sturdy enough to hold the clutch in?I had wondered if it was some form of clamp or restrictor for the pedals during transport
If it was in tension yes, but I’m not sure if it was loaded in compression.Oooh interesting. Is it sturdy enough to hold the clutch in?
It is hard to imagine it being strong enough to hold the clutch in but I sense that we are close. I was thinking that it might have been brake pedal related. Perhaps, it helped apply the brake pedal somehow to further supplement the emergency brake during transport???Oooh interesting. Is it sturdy enough to hold the clutch in?
