What fuse taps to use?

I'm wondering what fuse taps I should be using for the interior footwell fuse box or if anyone has used them yet? I wired some interior accent lighting today and the 3 supplied taps (standard, mini, low profile) don't fit, so I had to use the cigarette lighter for now. I'd prefer a clean installation, but the fuses seem to use some weird 3 prong design or a Mico fuse of sorts (fuses small enough to fit in to 1 side of a standard fuse connector).

Will the tap fit behind the fuse gang box behind the cover? Could the rise be too high?

Some fuse panels I've installed Add-a-Fuse to I've modified the fuse cover with a solder gun smoothing blade, to channel the wire and make extra room.

I have not looked at the panel to see how much room there is in height to the cover. Wonder if I should make a plate like tap I have seen in pics to lie flush with the cover.

This is correct. I had to take a metal file and shave away a bunch of plastic. Would not recommend getting this brand.

Purchased a tap from NAPA. Fits well. Very expensive. Ordered one from Oreiley. Will be picking it up. Half the cost.

I can confirm that the Lumision fuse taps sold by Amazon do not work, they will not seat all the way in the fuse slot. I returned them.
