Id recommend getting the engine first and maxing out the D1sc, then upgrading the blower.Well i think i have the wife on board with getting a sleeved RPG long block, so when that happens the goal is big power
It wouldn't just feel faster, it would be quicker/faster with the gear swap. Adding power is what most do, because it takes the least effort. Optimization is where its at, make the most of what you have.Thats the plan, just trying to think ahead. The only other mod (I think) that needs to be upgraded to handle big power is injectors. I'm around 800 whp right now and after being boosted since 2015 it doesnt feel like enough. Granted my gears are crazy long so i am sure a jump to 4.10 or 4.56 would make it feel faster.
Yea you will definitely need to upgrade injectors to ID1300x's and get a proper return fuel system like a Fore dual or triple pump setup for supporting more power, especially if you get a F series blower.Thats the plan, just trying to think ahead. I have a triple pump set up currently. I have talked to Beefcake about the 1300x's and that is what i will get when its time.Yea you will definitely need to upgrade injectors to ID1300x's and get a proper return fuel system like a Fore dual or triple pump setup for supporting more power, especially if you get a F series blower.
Let me know! are you on stock block? I want to turn it up more (im on a 4.5" pulley) but don't want to hurt the motor.Maxing out the D1SC should get you to into the low to mid 900 whp range. I currently have my D1SC on a 4.0 pulley which puts me at max impeller RPM shifting at 7500. Am going back to the dyno on the 27th so will have updated dyno numbers then.
Standard diameter crank pulley? You should only be at just under 59k rpm with the 4.0" , D1SC recommended max rpm is 62kMaxing out the D1SC should get you to into the low to mid 900 whp range. Built motor with MMR 1000 Short Block L&M intake cams and Boss heads. I would stay with that pulley size on the stock motor. That's actually the same pulley size I was running when I had my stock gen 1 motor.Let me know! are you on stock block? According to the Procharger blower RPM calculator, With the stage 2 8" crank pulley and 4" supercharger pulley shifting at 7500 rpm gives you 61500 blower rpm.Standard diameter crank pulley? You should only be at just under 59k rpm with the 4.0" , D1SC recommended max rpm is 62k
