Just bought a new base 2016 Race Red V6 last Thursday and it came with the not so pretty stock 17 inch wheels.

Ive looked around to see if I could find what they weigh but did not have any luck. If anyone can help me out with this I would appreciate it.

I weighed them on a bathroom scale once. The rim + tire was 49.6 lb.

So I guess the rim is less than 20 lbs? As the tires on those must be heavier than those on 19inch pp wheels as they are meatier

According to tire rack the tire weighs 26 pounds. That puts the rim at 23.6 pounds. That seems right considering the stock 18s weight 25 pounds.

Check out the Advanti hybris on tire rack. About 20 pounds each and probably the cheapest rotary forged wheel I've seen.

Why do you think they're forged ? Tirerack clearly says they're cast which makes sense given the price...

Check the Advanti Website, bro. States they're flow formed (same thing as rotary forged). I don't think you could make wheels that size that light if they were simply forged, unless they were paper thin.

Those are actually one of the wheels I was considering along with the SVE Drifts which I notice a few people run with on here.

With the Hybris I couldnt decide if it looked good in the black or not.

I'd say go with silver only because every red sports car seems to have black wheels these days. Just my opinion though. By no means does it look bad, just kinda played out.

I'm deciding between these two as well. There is no denying fact that performance wise, Hybris is gonna be better as its lighter and the brand is a bit more intriguing I believe. However I would say that the spokes on Hybris is two thin for me, It's exposing most of the rotors and other stuff which is not that great as we don't have a fancy caliper or drilled/slotted giant rotors. If you like that kind of look then definitely go for it, it is kind of the lightest wheels out there.

I would take a sve drift as the offset is better and you can rotate the wheels for the cost.
