It does say to avoid use on light colored interiors, for the first option- is that right?
Nice catch, didn't even notice it before. I've seen it applied to brown leather before so I figured it would be fine. It probably is, just have seen weird results on white leather. I wouldn't take the chance though. Get the 2nd option and you'll be fine. The Lexol will clean and condition it very well, just won't have the "Protection" of the CQuartz.

I just purchased a new '16 Eco Prem with ceramic leather seats and I'd like to keep it looking as new as possible. I've ordered a sun shield and car cover (I park outside) but would like something to protect the passenger seats. What would I use? If someone could give me a guide to upkeep that would be really great! I don't know how often to wash/wax the exterior or anything about leather conditioning frequency. Are touchless car washes ok? Thanks!!
Get it ceramic coated, here in the UK (where our weather is garbage 90% of the year) i've had mine done with GTechniq Crystal Serum Exo. It's a ceramic coating which bonds to the paintwork, comes with a 7 year guarantee. It isn't cheap but if you're keeping the car for 5+ years then well worth it.
I literally do a 2 bucket wash and it comes back up looking like it did when it was first done. The coating also stops swirling, its resistant to bird droppings, etc. Don't have to bother with waxing, sealing, polishing ever again. It just needs a yearly inspection.

This is mine after being treated

Yes, there's various different products available too, not just Gtechniq. It's worth investigating what you have available in your local area, look up professional detailers.

A popular method in the US is CQuartz, which I've seen mentioned around here a few times. Might look in to that?

CQuartz and CQuartz UK are excellent paint coatings. Others like Polish Angel and Opti-Coat are excellent as well. If you're not into doing it yourself, look for a professional detailer to apply CQuartz Finest.

I would recommend a paint coating over traditional wax/sealants every day of the week. Stuff is awesome for sure.

OP, Just put in a museum behind glass and never drive or touch. Then have a team of archaeologists to dust it a few times a year.

LOL. I detail my car twice a year. It's a daily driver that gets occasionally washed and chips/scratches are inevitable. Certainly not stressing over it, nor am I willing to spend hours every weekend babying it. I drive it. :)

Big fan of Menzerna polishes and sealant though.

Best,

I use them only in the winter months for my daily driver. The Mustang never goes out in the winter time. Touch-less wash is the best alternative, especially when it is so cold in the Northeast during the winter months! Does the undercarriage as well.

Leather interior cleaners and Leather interior conditioning

I also felt worried of the sun damage and daily wear and tear on my daily Mustang with premium interior.

I successfully used Adam's Polishes' Leather Interior cleaner on my redline colored accent grouping seats. After testing in a small area of course if it'll wipe off the dyes which it didn't. (took off tons of dirt/grime pretty amazing for only a 4 week old car) When I applied Adams Polishes' Leather Conditioner it brought a nice matte shine non-greasy and also was easier to slide into and out of the seats when entering and exiting your car. I can vouch for this stuff! Never go for that over the counter from Target brands like Armor All.

I learned a lot of practical tips from the Junkman...jeez....going back to 2008-ish or maybe earlier when I had my Hemi Charger. Wow, he's been around for a good long while.
