I am looking to upgrade to GT Prem with 401A and some other options. The MSRP would be around 43k. The most discount I can find in Detroit, MI is around 3k for 2017 and 5k for 2016. I will be happy if I get a 2016 for around 35-36k OTD based on the deals posted here. Am I expecting too much? Suggestions needed

If you are willing to travel there are better deals to be had. I've seen 6-7k off 17's in the Southeast and mid atlantic.

If there is a 2016, you can probably get one for 34 OTD. In the DMV area, 2016's are being advertised at 7-8 grand off at some dealers. If you go in with a check in hand written for that amount I don't think you will get much pushback.

For a 2017, I would expect around 36 OTD.

I think CarGurus said it was on their lot 422 days. They had taken the PP wheels off and replaced them with the 18 inch aluminum rims. Helped me negotiate an extra $1000 off the price and I was gonna buy different wheels anyways.

There was another 2015 ecoboost PP with recaros three hours north of me. That dealership wouldn't go below 30 grand though.

2017 base GT Black no options 6 speed car, 29k with freight and processing fees. Sheehy In richmond va. Took a big hit on a trade in though and went with the extended warranty so with 4k down and taxes 32k financed. Sticker was 34k so considering I dont think I did horrible.

Honestly the cheapest place to buy mustangs on the east coast is Sheehy with the easy price.
