I have a question. I purchased my car in April 1st week, and few days ago I got a $750 private cash offer from Ford in my postal mail. Is there anything I can do about it? Or does it have to be applied at the time of purchase?

Thanks

i payed $60,000 AUD which works out to about $44,716 USD for a 2017 manual GT and a 12 month delivery estimate.

Bit of a markup in Oz

Just bought my first ever mustang and I think I did pretty well all things considered. The dealer I eventually purchased from gave me a great price without really having to negotiate. I purchased a 2016 GT premium with the Performance Pack, Navi, Reverse Sensing, and Enhanced Security. Msrp was $41,275. They gave me a price of $38,006 dollars before any rebates. After qualifying for the $750 cash back and receiving my $750 customer cash through the ford website I purchased it for $36,500. This is near Los Angeles as well. How do y'all think I did though?
I am looking at the same car and options as yours. I have visited 3 dealers and they are all offering $39,000 OTD with 0% financing. Is your price including all the tax and title?

Still thinking about the deal and kind of waiting for the $750 coupon.

No it wasn't including tax and title. Tax in Cali is 9% and that's where u really feel the hit.... After tags, taxes and and other small fees I was in at a lil bit above 40k.... 39k out the door is an awesome deal.:headbang: is that including dmv fees, taxes, title, and all the little small stuff? You could always try and get that ford customer cash by applying for a brochure. Apply for different cars besides the mustang. One of them should come with it then you'll really be breaking getting a steal lol

Thanks! I even got the Mustang American Club membership to try the X-plan and the invoice is a bit over $38k. So, it is a good deal I guess. I applied for the brochure multiple times several days ago and I will keep waiting on that. If I could get an awesome trade-in price, that would be even better.

[edit] BTW, $39k is OTD price. So, I believe it includes everything like title and tax stuff.

Hey Fenix, I see you are in Ohio. Can I ask where you got that deal? It seems like all the dealers I have searched in Ohio want way too much compared to other states.

Lebanon Ford and Kings Automall in Cincinnati had basically the same deal at the time. Kings came off their Internet price a bit so I purchased from them.

Did you finance this at 0% by any chance. The dealers in Houston seem to either give the $750 or 0% but not both. Also, I see you're located in Plano, do you mind sharing the dealership, looks like you got a solid deal considering the OTD price. I wouldn't mind driving a bit for a good deal.

I can confirm the Ford offers of 0% financing or $750....but not both.
Depending on the amount financed, of course, the 0% for 60 months will be the better deal.
Fords -$1000 for military Veterans offer ends today! July 5th.

Checkout Autonation Ford in Katy, Texas. I found they had the best prices around.

It's either $750 or 0%. I opted for $750. I got the car at Five Star Ford in Plano. Talk to Brian Rhee. Their internet price was lower than anyone's negociated price. I even got them to come down $500 below the internet price when I was at the dealership. I couldn't get the brochure $750 rebate and wanted to be below $36k OTD so they worked with me to move the car. I couldn't even get this price for a 2015 from Autonation. Good luck!

Wow that seems high, more like premium pricing? What were the taxes and fees? Maybe what your final negotiated price was before taxes? I'm not familiar what fees and taxes are in Cali.

I bought my 2015 base GT new with auto, 3.55s, and recaro seats for $32k OTD.
Wow, now that is a great deal, at the time I was considering various options that would have brought my ecoboost close to $32K OTD, decided against it and got it pretty base for $28K OTD but have modded about $3K since, lol.
