No, but how much sales tax is on that? Check cargurus.com and autotrader.com and search for new cars, you'll see what you can start from.

Actually Cars.com has the most and the lowest prices listed that I've seen. You just have to watch that the pics and description are accurate in regard to the actual car.

Hey everyone, I am new here and I am having some trouble making a deal with a dealer for a 2016 Ecoboost. I am currently in a base 2015 Hyundai Genesis coupe lease (23 months left in a 36 month lease with 15,000 miles allotted a year) and have a little bit of negative equity. The car has 10,6xx miles. I pay $400 a month currently and I put down $2,500 down initially due to having negative equity with my trade in.

They are offering 2.25 APR, 39-month lease, 12,000 miles, 56% residual with an end value of $15,755, Initial cap cost: $28,750, $645 Acquisition, $750 in rebates, no money down, and 2-year free oil changes/free tint. Total monthly comes out to $415 (tax included).

This is the car here (window sticker in the link too) - http://www.gainesvilleford.net/new/Ford/2016-Ford-Mustang-bd34c96e0a0e0a1770156e7b8e8dfa90.htm

I personally think the deal could be a little better but the dealer claims they are "losing money." Funny how every dealer I have ever been to is always losing money... Should I stick with the Genesis and just ride the lease out or get this car and try to negotiate a better deal?

I know that is a lot but if anyone could help me out I would be forever grateful!

Every area is different. You need to check cars.com, Autotrader.com and cargurus.com. I got the best out of state deal locally. Well, my wife did. She's a much colder negotiator than I. I have a Silver V6 in my driveway tonight for a crazy low price thanks to her! And after she beat them down all the way, she then got them to throw in the spare tire! And... it's already tinted!

Akins Ford, Georgia? They had all their mustangs for $6,000 off MSRP and the service fee was $499 and now its changed to $5,000 off with a service fee of $599. I have been watching their inventory and will bite when they get even more aggressive with their pricing. What did you end up paying OTD?

This one dealer I'm talking with offered the following:
GT base MSRP $38,475

If I financed through the dealer: $34,217 without tax & tags
If I financed through Ford @ .9%: $35,217 without tax & tags

I think they can do better...

Lol good luck with that, springtime in Georgia is 4 weeks away.

True but they have around 80 mustangs in stock (most being the v6) and the 2017s will start popping up on lots as well. I haven't been following the v6 sales or trends but I think the demand isn't as high now that its in its second year of its face lift. Only time will tell though, I'm in no rush....

Fair enough, I guess, but you'll be waiting at least until the Fall.
