Nope. Florida allows me to register the car remotely, and pay ZERO sales tax as long as I do not drive it in Florida for six months. This isn't my first time doing this.
My inital registration fee is also waived.

ONLY for military regarding registering an out of state titled vehicle. That was not the case when I was military decades agtherwise,if you want to register a vehicle in Florida with an out of state title,the VIN must be verified in person by a DMV agent.
