Yesterday.

Replaced my driver side puddle lamp. I'm convinced the degradation is from opening and closing the doors since the passenger side is still perfect.

Original driver side at ~30k miles

I popped the old one out with no damage. Just stuck a very small sharp flat head (others have used knifes) at the end with the tab (end is obvious looking at the new one) and popped it out. Mine came out with the tab intact but wouldn't matter.

Was actually harder to put it back in because the connector had interference with something inside the mirror. I looked at the old one and saw the electrical posts on it were bent. So I bent the new ones to match using the plug. I can't be sure but I suspect the new lamp could get jammed if you didn't get the end opposite of the tab in first and it won't go in first with the pins straight.

Also, I cringed when I watched one YouTube video where the guy snapped it into the mirror BEFORE confirming it worked correctly. Might be some swearing if the new one was defective and you broke the tab off removing it. So open the door once after connecting it but before snapping the new one in. LoL

You're lucky yours actually fit lol. What did you attach the tether to?
I left it attached to itself the way it was shipped. Didn’t even pull radiator cover to install.

Instructions said to attach the clean line to the supercharger.... kept looking in the box for the supercharger. Finally gave up hahaha.

Does it calculate it based on highest observed rate of speed change (acceleration), mass (weight) and drag coefficient? . If so, where does it get the mass and CD?

Solid questions. I have no idea and just chalk it up to automotive witchcraft ;)

How about what I didn't do to my S500 today. I didn't take to the track like I was planning. I was stuck at work. We've got too much work, not enough people, projects that are steamrolling along and a boss, who, let's just not go there.

I did drive it to work, so at least I got to drive it.

Honked my horn for the first time to see what it sounded like. I honestly don't see what the fuss is about. It was loud. It's a single horn, guess I won't be changing it out for dual.

I saw a UHP comparison video by Tyre Reviews (on YouTube) where the Vredestein did very well up against the "big guys". I had never heard of the brand before that but they seem like good tires
I saw that review, that's why I picked them at a heavy discount as a temporary solution for this cold, wet spring. Will swap them for Cup2s for the summer, but so far I'm very happy with the Vorits.

Chef JP gave me his new o2 sensors upper and lower, my car was occasionally going from steady 14 afr to 12-15-12-15-12-15 at steady speed, steady cruise, I had an aftermarket downpipe, without tune, so I put OEM back, on, and put a new upper o2 sensor.

it fixed 90% of it. occasionally it'll go from 15-12-15-12 now. and reset back at 14. I went ahead and just tossed the rear o2 sensor in.

I dont know if the rear has ANY impact on the uppers readings, but I am 99% sure, running the aftermarket downpipe w the o2's messed up the upper/maybe lower.

but anyway. both are now new.

hopefully it doesn't do the bounce anymore.
