Is the car un-towable once it's been lowered?
define 'lowered'. 1" or so is no biggie. Otherwise call a tow guy who packs extra ramps. Maybe throw some 4x4 angled wood into your trunk?
Anyone ever had to get theirs towed?
yes "LOTS" of 5.2l Mustangs have required towing when their engines grenaded. They have had the most practice by far. :)
If so, which tow hook is a good one?
many of the frequent users get the Ford one that wraps around the crash bar.

Still waiting to see if anyone has ever actually used a tow hook on the front of a mustang before after lowering it. Is the car un-towable once it's been lowered? Anyone ever had to get theirs towed? If so, which tow hook is a good one?
Just have the tow guy throw a tow Dolley under the front tires. Takes less then a few mins and then there's no worry of having it scrape up and down a flat bed.

Lowered .5" all the way around but its low, like 4 inches max is all I have between the front spoiler and road. All Mustangs are not created equal in regards to how low they sit, I learned that the hard way by buying 3 sets of springs.

I was eyeing the FP one and the ZL1Addons which uses the crash bar in front as well. As long as it moves the car without destroying it I am good I think.

No worries when the chains start pulling slightly upwards? Or is the angle subtle enough that it won't hit the underside of the spoiler? I am not a tow person nor know much of anything about what they CAN do.

In the last few weeks, added the black horse, put some stainless screws in different places around the engine compartment, and tonight put stainless screws on the engine cover.

Heading to get a bath this afternoon before a lovely weekend. Car was attacked late Wednesday night, during the bad storms here, by a Camphor tree... Getting dropped off this coming Wednesday for a full detail that includes paint correction, polish, and wax. Hopefully I can get my new wheels on soon too...

the same type they make the greasy wax-like stuff from? That's gonna leave a mark.
Not sure on that. What I do know is this thing sheds 6 different things (leaves, berries, swirly things) depending on the time of year LOL. It was in the middle of a new shed when the storms hit and that stuff went everywhere. I get my car waxed every 3-4 months, and use spray wax every other wash, since it is parked outside. Good thing is she stays slick and stuff comes off easily. I live in the historic area of town, so we have oaks, popcorn trees, whatever you name it. Luckly no pine trees, those suck.

I cut down my tree because birds kept pooping on my car. Dead serious lmao.

Then I paid $700 and I trenched the hole as big as I could and planted a Japanese maple

Neighbors couldn’t belidne I cut down my 40 year old tree due to bird poop

Every house has one of those trees. But I have a gargantuan in my backyard
