Heading to get a bath this afternoon before a lovely weekend. Car was attacked late Wednesday night, during the bad storms here, by a Camphor tree... Getting dropped off this coming Wednesday for a full detail that includes paint correction, polish, and wax. Hopefully I can get my new wheels on soon too...

the same type they make the greasy wax-like stuff from? That's gonna leave a mark.
Not sure on that. What I do know is this thing sheds 6 different things (leaves, berries, swirly things) depending on the time of year LOL. It was in the middle of a new shed when the storms hit and that stuff went everywhere. I get my car waxed every 3-4 months, and use spray wax every other wash, since it is parked outside. Good thing is she stays slick and stuff comes off easily. I live in the historic area of town, so we have oaks, popcorn trees, whatever you name it. Luckly no pine trees, those suck.

I cut down my tree because birds kept pooping on my car. Dead serious lmao.

Then I paid $700 and I trenched the hole as big as I could and planted a Japanese maple

Neighbors couldn’t belidne I cut down my 40 year old tree due to bird poop

Every house has one of those trees. But I have a gargantuan in my backyard

Yeah, we cleared a lot of ours, this is my neighbors. Its not over our cars, it is just so high stuff goes everywhere. I am going to be cutting the limbs in my air space this year though.

I’d just hose it off
Due to the waxing, most of it blew off on the way to work. Thats the good thing about the Meguiars D15601 treatments.

Make sure you know the codes. I’m sure it’s fine but my 2 neighbors tried to sue me awhile back. I ran a French drain with all my water drops from house like 100 feet to back of my yard, I piped it 1 foot before my fence facing my neighbors yard.

But here’s the kicker, it then slopes into next neighbors yard because sloping ground and soaks his yard, I see his dog sinking in mud

First neighbor tried to sue me saying I can’t pipe water into her property....

She forgot that I own additional 5 feet of property, I placed my fence 5 feet on my side, because it looked better as the land goes up.

The other neighbor tried to sue me, or rectify it, because where I pump my water. Sump pump + roof water drops into the French drains goes to his property

He has like a 5 foot drop of terrain, the city said that I cannot change waters natural path, and because I do indeed own 5 more feet of property, there’s nothing she can do

Now she’s trying to contest the city that she can claim my additional 5 feet of yard because I fenced my fence further on my property and now she has to cut the yard so it’s hers

God it’s annoying

The little shrubs are the property line behind the fence

French drain is there and red shows how I oriented it. Neighbor with pool is the guy sucking, his dog sinks in that part of water runoff. But he has no say in anything because he lives on lower elevated property.

Yep. He knows and is fine. A couple of clean cuts and they are off my property. Plus one has already grown out and is over my roof. No bueno in hurricane country.

One lawyer said I’m perfectly fine doing what I did, another said be prepared to put a new fence down 5 feet out and take mine down

One other guy said be an asshole, leave your current fence and just run a shitty looking metal fence or chicken wire fence beside her shrubs, he said you can even make her cut half the shrubs off because her branches technically hang on your property. Just use roundup and kill the middle area lol

Also that I could have to fight this all over again If that property goes for sale, it can be rezoned or assumed

Since covid havnt heard much, the city zoning/councils been pretty much closed and so far behind on real stuff that maybe it gets dropped

I paid 15,000 to fix garage settling + 9,000 for all French drains drain tiles, sump pump etc.

Gotta run that water somewhere

It’s because of her house being higher than mine, all her water runs to my house.

plastic orange construction 'fencing' with greet iron posts. That'll spruce up the look.

Bet.

I spent way to much money for this to all of a sudden become an issue

It started w the neighbor behind us his yard is basically flooding during storms, sorry. Can’t help him, but then he complained to her and that’s where this all started.

She didn’t give a damn originally. Now she wants to claim my yard area as hers. Think he gave her the idea etc

I did all this 5 going on 6 years ago.
