Getting custom GT 5.0 badges made for the fender/rear decklid in the Shelby font. They're getting painted gloss black. (Will post updates)
Nice.

Who is making them? I would love to replace the 5.0s on the fenders with something else of my design. Don't like alpha-numeric badging and haven't found anything else that I like a lot.

Drill out the pins from the front. Trashes the emblem but much easier than pulling it all apart.
Thanks for the tip! I've seen where some say just pry it out and break the clips but I don't know how to do that without potentially damaging the grill. I don't care if I trash the old emblem.

Put some wet paint on the tips of the new emblem posts and place directly over the old one in order to mark the position of the old tabs. Drill on the paint Mark's with a drill one size smaller then the tabs. It will drill out the old tabs, or at least weaken them so you can easily brake them off. It is that easy.

Having a guy on Etsy make them actually. The emblem is going to be made out of resin but painted gloss black. I would prefer metal, but custom metal work can get pricey quickly. Plus, I had a lot of trouble having some of the larger fab places online due to trademark concerns over the Shelby font.

Dhood looks great..the paint looks a bit darker on the hood compared to the rest of car ..maybe just the lighting or because of it being fiberglass ..does the engine compartment get much more dirtier with the big air vent?

I wonder what the quantifiable advantage of a CF DS is, and what NVH is adds.

In most cases, less rotational mass meaning less drivetrain power loss to the wheels.

Well that was no fun at all. Just changed the cabin air filter. For some reason I felt all my vehicles needed new cab filters. With 18k miles and 15 mos. old the filter was clean, no particles. All I got out of the change was peace of mind, spare filter, and now have one more thing to add to what I hate about my Mustang.

Did the same thing a week or two ago. I thought for sure it would have been disgusting after the back to back to back fire seasons happening here. It was cleaner than the clothes I was wearing. oh well...

Doesn't seem to be, but its been so wet latly it hasn't been run much with out the rain tray. Color match is very good, definitely distortion from lighting

I know I shouldn't be, but I'm afraid of CF driveshafts ever since I watch Steph from AM blow one up... How light is it?
i weighed it at 20.2 lbs, quite heavy for cf, then again it's beefed up to handle 1500 whp supposedly :p

oh yeah what i did today... oil change oh and put my stock tb back on, the ported one was randomly acting up throwing tb codes and going into limp mode... that was a waste of money :(
