Very nice! One question. Have you been to Mexico where you can test the hood for flutter at triple digit speeds now that you have the new hood? Inquiring minds would like to know.I got this DID today...LOL!
It had a little with the rain pan installed. Open (no rain pan) it has zero flutter! We don't use that word at work, flutter is worse than the 4 letter F word in the aerodynamics community.Very nice! Is that a totally new hood? where did you get it?I got this DID today...LOL!

So, when are you going to solve the driving light mod? I trust you have seen this recent post:It had a little with the rain pan installed. Open it has zero flutter! We don't use that word at work, flutter is worse than the 4 letter F word in the aerodynamics community.
It's the Cervini GT500 hood I've had for a couple months, just had some graphics added. Is that a totally new hood? where did you get it?
Not sure, I have to figure out a way to mount the lights I bought and then remove the nose, and I'm not looking forward to that. So, when are you going to solve the driving light mod? I trust you have seen this recent post:

This is what I was going to try to do with the Vicrez hood with some functional hood pins. Great job! Some real heat extraction.I got this DID today...LOL!
Did you have to modify the graphic or chose to? It's higher up on hood and boxier than oem it appears.I got this DID today...LOL!
Once I installed rivet nuts on my splitter, I no longer fear removing the bumper. Funny thing is I haven't removed the bumper since I did the DD sequential turn signals and the rivet nut conversion on the splitter. Not sure, I have to figure out a way to mount the lights I bought and then remove the nose, and I'm not looking forward to that.
I keep reading about this ābreak-in mileageā thing. I guess I must have missed it so itās a little late to ask but is there some generally agreed on standard for break in?Have you hit the break in mileage yet, Mike?
Car looks great
It looks awesome!!!It's the Cervini GT500 hood I've had for a couple months, just had some graphics added.
No, I redlined my car at 300 miles. I find it's better to get a couple hard pulls in early on so things all settle in nicely. I don't think most people realize these engines are pushed to redline before the car leaves the factory. Lots of city driving is good for the manuals. If you haven't seen any issues in 1,000 miles, you probably won't see any at all.I keep reading about this ābreak-in mileageā thing. Same hereOne more thing I didn't know I needed for a car I never drive. Thanks! Order placed!
