Swapped to the GT500 Center gauges and replaced the water they call trans fluid last night to redline D4. Shifts WAY better IMO and got rid of the slight gear "nibble" I had when cold going into 5th.

I am also not thrilled with the factory fill and have been thinking about redline MT85 (75W85) since that matches Tremec's new MTF that they broadly recommend. But I realize the D4 more closely matches Ford's Dextron III ATF specification for us MT folks. Would love to hear more about the D4 as you continue to use it. I've got a 3rd gear nibble that's almost unforgivable.

Edit: I also did the GT500 gauges, I highly recommend it, my favorite mod so far!

The d4 shifts great, I cannot reccomend it enough, but thats not to say MTL will not work, maybe even better, honestly, I think anything thicker the tremec will like better. I went with ATF solely if i run into a warranty issue they are not going to know the difference, mtl will be noticeable.

I cannot suggest highly enough anyone with a tremec to get that water our of your gearbox. It smooth as glass shifting now, I was a little disappointed with the tremec after all the hype, it felt a little clunky to me, but the last tremec I had was a fully build t56 by Rick Kim on my corvette, so I assumed it was just because of what I was comparing to...I was considering the mgw but I'm really happy with the results.

Mustang Thunderbird F150 & '22 Mach 1 on order.
Changed oil/filter @ 3500 mi. using Valvoline full syn with Ford specs.

Installed Ford Performance X-Pipe. Sounds amazing!!! Only notice the difference on acceleration, deceleration and start up, she has an awesome growl now, Love it! Just as quiet as before on cruise, love that too.

I prefer it to the H-pipe's deeper roar.

Questions on some of these mods.
Where do you get the GT500 gauges?
How easy is the tremec fluid change? No lift.

Just got the winter tires and a new set of wheels.
I'm planning to install the summer rubber on these wheels, and use the 5-spoke stock wheels for the winter set.

Good looking. Who makes the wheels and what are the specs on them?

These are Ford's. They come as options on the 2021 Mach1. My M1 came with the stock 5-spoke wheels, but I loved these so much, and I couldn't help it but order them. Also they seem to be better for the summer as they seem kind of more 'open'.

Stock goes for the winter...
