Just installed the Soler throttle body. I cannot believe the difference!

I had some time to do a few "mods" or basic items to get it ready for my maiden voyage that will happen soon (once roads are clear and temps are above 50°)

ZL1 Add-ons mudflaps with the foam blocks too:

Front license plate bracket that is removable:

J&L oil separator (I bought this kind on the very, very small chance that I throw a Whipple on it at some point 😬):

Also, these are stock, but I just think they're so cool when I open my doors:

Coming up next when I have time, will be my Ford performance all black lug nuts, a Mobil-1 oil change, and front splitter protectors that go on the underside. I am also considering taking the headlights out for a DIY "blacking out" of the silver parts along with the orange reflector. I have a four post lift coming sometime in the next couple of weeks that will make everything much easier to work on 😎

The rest of the car has been clay barred. Time to tape stuff off and go to work.

Hopefully I get a lot done this weekend.

Take your time and enjoy the detail therapy but be careful with adhesive on the window trim. I wouldn't let it stay on overnight otherwise it can leave a residue. I left mine on for a couple days and it was a bear to remove.

Are you referring to the tape that you used? I'm using some 3m green tape and it barely stays on.

I was wondering about this though, because it's going to take a good few days. But I took PTO this week, so now I'll start polishing tonight.

What kind of tape did you use? 3m claims no tape residue once removed.

I had to go back and look, it was the blue tape. The only issue I had was the window trim

Gotcha thanks!

I'm starting the polishing tonight, still have a little taping to do. Not sure if I have enough pads on hand. I ordered more, but could be next week...

Sharp car BTW.

Finally got my 17 back today after about a month and a half out of service for an engine replacement. Soooooo thankful to have it back. Can't wait to get the engine broken in and then finally get to open it up. And she's getting a set of Shelby CS21 wheels tomorrow as an added treat. Can't wait!

Are you going brushed aluminum on the cs21 wheels?
They’re the smoked tint finish. If my car had white stripes I would have gone with the lighter brushed aluminum but because the stripes are black I felt like smoked tint was a better fit. We’ll see tomorrow!

You will like them. Trying to get my buddy to go with them. I have the brushed aluminum on mine. What a difference in looks.
