70 and sunny today in KC. She got new shoes this past week. 5 yr. old original tires were down right sketchy on the track. Did a complete detail and then took her out for a new afternoon drive. I am heading to OIR in early May, so can't wait. She will get new pads up front and I will finally install my caliperfection stud kit over the next few weeks. Come on Spring.....

They opened up the scales here. Car weighed in at 4055 lbs with a full tank of gas and me (215 lbs) in it. So 3840 net without driver. This is all stock (non Recaro seats) with SC2 tires.
Nice. I took my 2016 GT350 to Summit Point once. I had the Ford Performance sport exhaust by Borla and all else stock. I Was hitting upper 140s on the long straight past the tower. Are the SC2ā€s the stock 350 (295/35/19 x 305/35/19) or 350 R sizes (305/30/19 x 315/30/19).

I snickered more than a little when I saw a gal smack her boyfriend/husband on the back of his head, when she noticed the voodoo sound and he just shrugged his shoulders as if he didnā€™t know šŸ˜‚

Ford put the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 (SC2) as the standard factory tires for the GT-350 starting with the 2019 MY in the sizes that you listed

Stock 350 size. Upper 140s is quick. Your entry speed must have been >75 mph to hit that at the end of the straight. I'm usually at around 70ish at entry but always lift at 141 because that's redline in 4th and it's hard for me to get that extra shift in.

Great. I did have extra power adders that I forgot to mention. itā€™s because I only used it once. I had the JLT cold air intake with tune and tanked up with the Summit Point high octane fuel, I believe 100 plus octane. The VMP tune gave me an extra 200 rpm in redline. Roughly 570 horses with the tune, ford racing exhaust and gas. I also have about 3500 laps or so racing at Hockenheim GermanyF1 track with a Modded C5 Z06. One of the benefits of being stationed in Germany just a few miles from that race track. That experience helped me to brave that long straight, but it was lot of focus to get that weight slowed down to navigate that turn at the end of the straight. The one thing I noticed is how well the GT350 wears the weight, especially when tossing it around.

Ah okay. That makes sense. Must have been really fun. One day I'm going to temporarily ship my car over to Europe and hit those F1 tracks. Will be a nice vacation.

Installed Ford Performance hood lifts. Let my ten year old do most of the work. Was great seeing him get into it and really starting to participate!!!

Installed Shifteck Resonator Delete. Sounds amazing.

Nothing else on the list to do at this point. But the car is still wearing its original tires from 2017 (only have 8k miles on them). I am not sure as I have nothing to judge them by but they feel a little greasy... Might be time to replace. Is there anyway to check their condition with a durameter?

I too have a 2017 and noticed a big difference in traction, especially on the rear when I changed the OE tires in 2022.
