What car for USA road trip?

I usually go to the USA every couple of years for a road trip. Until now, the choice of car has always been easy. However, now I have the Mustang, I think it would be a bit silly to hire one stateside. So, what should I try the next time I'm out there? Is the Camaro worth a shot or something else?

How much baggage you taking?

Also a vette Z06/7 pack would be good, but baggage room is trash on them.

I spent a few weeks last year seeing a young lady in LA.

I always found it galling that I had a Mustang sitting in the UK whilst I was using her VW CC in order to wander the freeways.

In 1992 I hired a '72 Mustang from a place called Rentareck in LA. Maybe try an older Mustang.

Just get a truck, as when it comes to muscle/sports cars the US car hire companies always give you the bottom of the model rung which are usually not munch faster than a Focus.

You already have a Mustang, try something new! Several places rent Hellcats or SRT8s, depending on your budget!
