What airbag sensor do I need in the seats?

My 18 was in a wreck, I replaced the steering wheel and curtain. I plan on getting Recaro's down the road so for now, I don't want to replace my seat airbag.

What sensor do I need for the seat? I've removed the bag, yes I understand the inherent risk.

I'd think you need to replace or have re-set some part of the air-bag system. There's some control module that needs to be replaced or re-set.

That same company should be able to help you with the plug for the non-existent air-bag in the seat.

Dunno why you don't just try and find a replacement seat with the air-bag in place.

Lower cost? Less weight? More aggressive bolstering? Aftermarket seat mounts typically can reduce the seat height? All good things for a more track oriented car.

I never was able to get the airbag light to go out with the usual resister trick. But I don't worry about it anymore. Otherwise my aftermarket seats are better in every way. Getting the seat lower in particular makes a big difference for a tall driver who has to fit with a helmet.

Exactly why I'm doing it- but with the light on doesn't that mean the rest of the bags won't work properly?

Some "internet experts" claim so. Others claim not. I lean to not as it would be a bad design choice. Does your cooling system shut down if you get a temperature warning?

If you're worried, upgrade to a better seat belt/harness. Or avoid crashing.

call the folks at my airbags.com they are located in Atlanta. they reset the SRS models and program as new if needed. They should be able to tell you what your optioons/ possibilities are for deleting seat air bags.
