love the shot. If you get a chance to re-do, my recommendation would be to turn front wheels other way to get good shot of the rims.

And with the sun fully down, the stars look much brighter :D. I want to go back to Big Bend one of these days; that's the best place for star-watching I've seen around here. But make sure to check the moon phase first; with a full moon, you won't see crap. Ha ha. Which is what happened last time.

Yo, thanks for your appreciation... however believe me that's a sub-optimal shot (as I'm a perfectionist! :D ), not the right camera settings nor the lights position. It was a improvised shot, I was there to take some astro-pictures (I'm a amateur astrophotographer) then took one at the car before leaving, as it resulted in a average one, I've decided to post it. Next time I'll go for a good shot in the proper location, hopefully to have something worth to "frame", as I have figured now that the Bullitt is a great subject for this kind of pictures.

PS: the halo at the horizon is city lights beyond the mountains (something you barely notice with naked eyes, but it explodes with long exposition photos) ...it looks like the sunset, so in the end it wasn't that bad.

Oh, I see. Yeah, being anywhere near any big city kills the stars. That's why I like Big Bend; it's in the middle of nowhere, perfect for star gazing... as long as the moon is not there, that is. Looking forward to more shots like that :).
