I took my car to drive through car wash. When vaccuming I noticed the bottom of driver side door jamb wet as well as the carpet in back. What would cause this? How do I fix it?

First you have to determine the route the water took in. How well do your windows line up at the seal between front and rear? Is the car outside always? If so, you may have debris blocking body drains. No doubt there is a drain somewhere below the rear window. This has been mentioned elsewhere before so I think it is somewhat common, so I’m sure someone else who had it, and cured it, will chime in.

Joe its probably the known problem stickers that cover the holes where the door brace sits, if you open the door and look from the front wing towards the dash your see the holes

Pull the door panel and make sure the vapor barrier is sealed at the bottom.

There was another thread elsewhere on here where the vapor barrier was not sealed properly at the bottom and water took the path of least resistance... breached the vapor barrier where the sealant was missing and trickled inside to the floor.

Instead of make a new thread I will update. It has been a slow steady rain here not hard but steady. I have floor liners in front. The driver side was full and carpet was wet. The seat bottom was damp.
Give me an idea how to fix it or at least look some what educated about the problem when I take it to a garage.

Nevermind. This was already suggested: Check the stickers inside the door jamb by the fender. They are known to come off or not be properly stuck over the holes.

Would this make the seat bottom damp and driver side floor liners full of water?

I lowered the top so I could see better. I saw nothing really but I noticed the back of the bottom cushion was wetter than the front. I pull the rear window up by hand when raising it. There is a 3/16 gap but the rubber looks like it seals it, apparently it does not.
I located the source of the water (most likely anyway) How to fix it?

Instead of starting a new thread I will update this.
It is a little cool out in the mornings. It sprinkled a little.
When putting seat belt on I pulled it out all the way,
The bottom was cool and wet. So I found where the water is setting.
Question where is it coming from? How to stop it?
