Thank you to those who offered me some guidance last night. I pulled the plugs and turned the motor over by hand and did an oil change. The car started with no issues, just working through burping the coolant system now. I was in full panic mode last night and worked on the car until 6am when I finished the oil change. Now it's time for a beer.
Truly happy it worked out. Good warning for others.

You should've seen my buddy's fox body 302 when he accidentally hooked up one of the TB coolant passages to a vacuum hose ;)

Oil floats so any water comes out the drain first.

I completely submerged my 3 month old '74 4x4 pickup. Friend winched it out of the river. I unscrewed the drain plug and let it run till the water turned to oil and I pulled the plugs and cranked it over until water stopped coming out the holes. Drove it home and changed all the fluids and took the seats out to dry. Never had the slightest problem from it. LoL.
