I like the stock exhaust on my 2015 GT.
It is quiet and forgettable and easy on the ears while just driving around under normal circumstances.
The subtle sound is acceptable to my wife but a noisy exhaust would absolutely not be.

What I would like to do is have two electric cutouts that would wye off ahead of the suitcase (resonator?) box then route out of the side, similar in style and location to where the Boss side exhausts exit just in front of the rear tires. This would let me bypass everything except the catalytic converters when I want a more aggressive sound.
I looked under the car and it looks like there is room to do what I want under the car.
My idea is to collect the parts and hand them to a local muffler shop and have them modify my exhaust system.

Does anybody have any idea where I could come up with the Boss tips and flattened pieces that route the bypass to the central portion of the car?
Also, does anybody have a recommendation on good quality electric cutouts? I don't want to buy parts that have a history of leaking or failing all together.

I've never used cut outs but there is plenty of room for you to do what you want under the car. Ford racing has a mid pipe set up that eliminates the stock resonator and does exactly what you are looking for too. Also Jegs.com has a variety of cut outs and tipes to look at.

Sounds like a lot of work to me.....and a project you may have to really fiddle with to get just right!? I went with Flowmaster mufflers (Delta 44) and resonator delete and it is just right. Got a really nice growl without being too wild....... You may want to consider something like this!?!?

Today I had the Ford Racing Resonator delete kit installed. It's now a hollow X-Pipe that are feed the stock mufflers. No raspy sound like in the videos that have been posted, yet it does produce a nice low end rumble in 1st gear and a nice rumble for 2nd through 6th. I didn't want something as loud as a complete Borla or American Thunder cat back system. I just wanted more "presence" when I stepped on the pedal.
