In general some people today are uncaring inconsiderate, self entitled and dishonorable when it comes to other people. Not quite sure if all or some know what they do or just don't care so much it is like breathing to them. Just like with many other things, a loud blatantly ignorant small minority of people can cause issues and undue influence on others. Driving a car is just one outlet that many people use to "show" their warped self worth.

I think I'm going to have to respectfully disagree, and say that Lexus drivers seem to be the most clueless and somehow entitled.

OH HELL no, at least here in New England the absolute worst are in order:

1.) BMW drivers
2.) Drivers of any cars with overly cambered wheels and huge fins on the back
3.) Mercedes drivers
4.) 1980's rotting pony car drivers

You mean after BMW drivers?
LOL, BMW drivers are generally not clueless, and they are entitled. No, seriously, I think it's a difference of being clueless/ignorant/distracted (Lexus) and self-absorbed and arrogant (BMW). You know, just to perpetuate steretypes.

At what point does instant karma mean we stop helping our fellow human though? Yes he was obnoxious and I totally would have chuckled too. But pointing and laughing and then not helping him out makes you all worse IMO. If rolls were reversed think about how your reaction would make you feel. This is why I have almost zero faith in humanity.
OK, good point. I was, for many years, a motorcycle rider. I did once drop my bike on the side of the road and had to wait for quite a while before someone came by to help me. Later I learned how to pick it up. However, and this is my only (weak) defense, the guy was a tool, and I think that having an obnoxiously loud vehicle that is literally painful and dangerous (hearing damage) to fellow motorists and pedestrians who have the misfortune to be nearby is disrespectful, compounded by obnoxious and unnecessary revving. Had he not revved it up and acted like a dick, I would have helped him, and actually would have shown him the proper way to lift a heavy bike by yourself.

If the rolls were reversed, yes, I would feel horrible. But I never, NEVER do unnecessary revving and obnoxious noise making like that. I have had many loud cars, and I do my best to minimize it unless I'm on the track.

Is everyone forgetting the big lifted trucks that come barreling down the highway?

Don't really see a lot of them up here.
I wouldn't say I see them "often" around where I live, but definitely often enough that it's noticeable.

Must be a "country" / southern thing.

2 houses down I have a neighbor that lets his obnoxiously loud Harley warm up most mornings. Very annoying for sure. Only saving grace is that my car is far from the loudest thing at 5am.
