Yeah...well, as Mr. Regular over at RCR has noted, when a Camry driver pulls this shit it doesn't go viral.

funny that this story gets air play..

it was not even a week ago, i left work for lunch, drove up to the local McD's. it is one of those with 2 drive thru lanes, but there were like 10 people in line, not using both lanes. ive seen this before, and trying to be the nice guy and not cause any trouble, i just got in line at the last spot, hoping someone would eventually realize there is 2 lanes and traffic would disperse. well more and more people start piling in, in the single lane.

finally a manager comes out, motions for me to roll down my window and says "we have 2 drive thru lanes, can you get in the other one?" which, btw, had no one in it. i looked at her, with about 5 cars still ahead of me, and said. "you want me to cut in front of all these other people that were here first?" and she says "yep, go ahead!"

so i pull out and into the second lane. some old lady decides she doesnt like that, so honking and hand waving ensued.. ever tried to order in a drive thru, while someone is honking their horn.. near impossible. anyway, the manager saw what happened, and approached the car, im not sure what was said but the honking stopped and we all got our lunch.

ive seen this more than a few times, at different locations and not just McD's. people sitting in 1 drive thru lane, when there are 2 lanes to order from. i wonder if this could be what happened here?

Related, maybe... I was at Costco getting gas this past w/e and some obnoxious little creep on his big manly Harley with straight pipes pulls in to get gas. This thing is loud! He parks, adds a couple of gallons, gets back on and of course has to rev it up. It was literally painful. He then starts to leave, and drops it. I laughed so hard I nearly peed my pants. Myself and several other folks applauded. He asked for help getting the bike back up, and none of us went over to help him. Finally the Costco guy helped him.

Eh, Honda drivers are the worst on the road IMHO. Clueless about traffic laws, oblivious to their surroundings, and just plain bad a driving.

I think I'm going to have to respectfully disagree, and say that Lexus drivers seem to be the most clueless and somehow entitled.

At what point does instant karma mean we stop helping our fellow human though? Yes he was obnoxious and I totally would have chuckled too. But pointing and laughing and then not helping him out makes you all worse IMO. If rolls were reversed think about how your reaction would make you feel. This is why I have almost zero faith in humanity.

While I don’t agree with the mustang driver cutting in line I think the more childish action was throwing a bottle at someone. Sure the guy shouldn’t have cut line but what’s one extra car in front of you maybe a 30 second wait? That’s no reason to assault a person.

Good question and very valid. I avoid drive through lanes at all costs.
