I've been detailing my own car for many years, I think I've reached an all time high-low by waxing door jambs! Does anyone have similar OCD issues?

Nope. I do the same. In fact if you pop our hood it looks like it did when we first bought our current mustang. And our is a DD on it's second set of tires =]

I consider it pride in ownership...

I don't consider that crazy at all. I guess i assumed most everyone on the forum waxed the door jambs.

Keep waxing those door jambs...makes perfect sense to meet!

I have no plans to drive my S550 in the rain (makes it easier to wash)...and after 5 months of ownership...it still has less than 500 miles...

I love being OCD!

Nothing at all bad about this man. It doesn't hurt and can only help. If u are like me and DD ur car than it helps with wiping out the door jambs after ya drive them in a rain storm

Your Stang looks brand spanking new. Beautiful!

I'm trying to keep my Ruby looking new, and after 8 months and 10,000 miles she still does. That was until Monday morning when a clueless lady backed into her right rear quarter panel.

I am 58 and have detailed my own cars from day one. My rule of thumb is wax wherever there is paint. A clean car just seems to run better than a dirty one. I also have racks in my garages for storage and cleaning and working on the underside of my cars as well

I've waxed UNDER my car...............
Utra,
Your dive shaft needs a coat of paint THEN WAX. I am surprised you showed that! :eyebulge:

And I hope you did not have anthing of value in your 'suit case' because someone stole it! ;)
