Hello :)

Does anyone know how the washer jet is removed please? I don't want to just pull at it in case I snap something. I think I have somehow sprung a leak!

Is this a common thing to happen? I'm hoping the tube has just come off the end of the jet. There is no fluid reaching the washer on the other side.

Thanks.

All sorted. Figured it out this morning. Nice to see Ford give you literally zero length on the washer tubing. I was quite pleased with my workaround. 😄

So the washer jet pushes out like so.

And then I removed some of the clips holding the cover up to gain access to the tube, and I just moved the clip holding the tube down a notch. This gave about an extra inch or so of length (oh my!). That should mean it'll never pull out again (oh my oh my!). 😂

And then pushed the barb back into the washer jet as far as possible and reattached the cover in the engine; leaving the one corner clip off (as it can no longer go back in). If I get time I might make a new hole in the cover.

Hope this is useful.

Thanks.
