hi all just spoke to my dealer yesterday and asked if they could fit a ford racing cat back exhaust and a induction kit to my gt when it arrives next month and was politely told by dealer that my warranty is null and void if I fit these items to a brand new car is this true !!!!

Pretty much no.
They have to prove that the non OEM part was the cause of the fault. So an CBE is highly unlikely to cause any issues to the drivetrain.
Same goes with the CAI it would be highly unlikely that it would cause an issue to the drivetrain.

If your puddle lights fail like many others, what they are saying now is they won't cover it due to you having an exhaust fitted. That's will prove to be a fun argument with the dealer!

Obviously your exhaust warranty would be out the windo as it will be sat in your garage. Just take it somewhere else and get them to fit it

There was some debate about this a few weeks ago
I spoke to the Ford warranty dept who said that Ford would have to prove that the mod caused the fault! I know a few dealers have fitted exhausts so I am happy about that - but wouldn't like to comment on an induction kit!

My dealer didn't even want to stick my plates on.I did it
The truth is they probably see it as hassle and warn you off with a warranty issue.
