Warranty issues w Trunk struts?

Hey,

Whats the deal???, I purchased steeda pop up trunk struts w heavy wing for my 2023 Mach 1 via Memorial day 2024. Either 1 or both struts are faulty causing my trunk to twist and rub the body of tail light area. chipping the paint off on both trunk lid and body. I spoke with Matthew, emailed him and sent pics etc. Its been a week, should've been taken care of same day. Why is it taking forever for any type action? No one has gotten back to me about sending original struts back, or sending me new ones. I am in the warranty phase, so whats the issue? This is why, I have little confidence when making purchases w steeda. sadly............. Between time wasted on warranty issues or cheap powdercoating, You guys need to STEP UP!!!!!! I was thinking about buying rear IRS Braces and Jack mounting braces and rear components.. Maybe not.
When i bought Mach 1 on memorial day weekend 2024 i dropped like $500 w steeda, off the bat......... Hello!!!!!!!!

This seems to be the way it is now on nearly everything .....trying to get warranty service on anything is a total pain.....it's so bad overall it's getting close to fraudulent misrepresentations.

FYI....I've been waiting 3 weeks for an answer on air filter micron spec..

They could be swamped with govt contracts....this is the high profit business!

Was at the Ford dealer on Friday re the continued D to R multi second shift lag after getting new 10R80 that wouldn't even engage one time.

Foreman tried to brush me off saying "we've done everything we can". I simply stated "the vehicle is under warranty and I'm making a warranty claim on new transmission suggest investigating valve body.

I may just get a trans tune it's so annoying parallel park on busy street and takes 4 seconds to engage R.

Had that issue I just adjusted the decklid and went along with my day. The funny thing is even now I can't stop noticing other cars even without the trunk pop kit and how off the alignment is from the factory. Even on the 24s!

Naghhhhhhh, I'm not adjusting anything. Car had PERFECT trunk alignment before steeda struts. Im the 1st owner, bought car memorial day 2024.. it's a 2023 Maxh 1. No thanks, I'm going baxk to stock struts.

As discussed and as Matt mentioned, there are occasional situations that require adjustments. We created this video to guide customers on how to make those adjustments when needed.

There are instances where we see them from the factory misaligned & even without the Trunk Struts - they need adjustment - as more & more Mustangs are produced, the tooling can shift/wear down, causing minor shifts in production.

Thank you for your help in this matter. Appreciate it. Like I said, not interested in adjusting a trunk of a brand new car to accommodate the struts. Slippery slope that u end up chasing forever w other body parts out of alignment.
