If you are worried about your warranty, Keep it stock. I use a UPR DV CC, since 180 miles, has 6000 miles on it now. I empty every 2000 miles, with a few ounces of a weird fuel oil water mixture that can not be good for the engine. I would not put the fluid form the CC in any gas tank, so I would rather it not go back through the intake system on my car.
That's what people I think people need to soak in. There is no 100 percent answer as people they will be dealing with are not 100 percent the same. Worried? Keep it stock. If not? Try your luck. Dealers are different. People are different.

?? I can't make out what the hell this means but if you are insinuating that it all boils down to the service write-up guy's word, you would be terrible wrong.

No necessarily the service guy, but I've read that people can get away with modding their cars and dealerships being OK with it - and then the complete opposite. My point is that everyone's experience is anecdotal.

I fixed the issue by carrying the original hose in the trunk & when it's time for service / anything to do with the dealer, I take the CC off & put back the PCV hose!
