Recently I noticed after an oil change that if starting my car up while being at temperature for the first few seconds if I try and give the car a quick throttle blip it will hesitate. I am wondering if anyone is noticing it. If i drive it for a second or so it will go back to responding correctly to throttle. Best way for me to describe is acts like it is too rich and bogs the motor on quick blips of throttle. Going to take it to the dealership but nervous they said this was the first they sold and never had a 15 anything in the shop

I always let my cars warm up before having too much fun with the gas pedal. I wonder if your traction control system is kicking in while stationary.

Well when I say blip I guess I should have said not trying to really rev it just give it a little to take off and release the clutch. It did it with a service person and he said it almost sounded like it cut out a little during the rev. Not sure what it could be to be honest once I drive it a little it acts perfect just that first few seconds and only on warm start up

I haven't noticed that, but it does feel like I have flat spots in the throttle before it is warmed up.

On the other band it does seem like the oil reached normal temp really quick. So I guess you can hammer on it pretty early in a drive

Is your car stock? I have experienced this since loading a new tune.

Yea car is bone stock. Only thing I have done since owning is taken it to the dealership at 1k miles for full synthetic oil to be put in. Well that and some LEDs which I know won't bother anything. Now I was told they unhook stuff to check air filter and stuff might check for some kind of unhook hosed or loose hose tomorrow

Well look likes the car might have also developed a slight miss at idle. I can't feel the miss but listening to the exhaust from behind you can here a slight miss in the idle tone.

Let me help get this taken care of. Send over a PM with your VIN, mileage, name, phone number, and dealer info. I'll enlist some assistance on my end while you head to the dealer.

Well first dealership trip was waste of time for me and the car. Did have them check the exhaust TSM and I was good there. They have started communication with ford engineering. They gave me the car back as it is my DD would u guys have taken it? I have several friends telling me the car needs to be dropped off and not drove until fixed

Can you get a video of it? My car almost sounds like it has a miss when it's in high idle on cold starts, but as soon as it settles down it smoothes out ... to the point it doesn't concern me at all.

I can try the next pretty day.

UPDATE: 3 trips to the dealer and NO info, they can replicate the issue but don't know what is causing it or how to fix it. They are are down playing it as it isn't a huge issue. They have been in contact with Ford Engineering, I am hoping this does get resolved as I have already spent the money on wheels and tires for the car. I have put almost 300miles driving back and forth between dealership and home.
