Please don't turn this into a BAMA bashing thread. There's plenty of factory cars on street tires running >11's.Wants to run 11.5s, wants to hook on street tires and wants to tune with bama. Boy this will be interesting.
Don't be so sensitive. I don't care who you use to tune with. Just making an observation of your goals vs requirements. Please don't turn this into a BAMA bashing thread. There's plenty of factory cars on street tires running >11's.
Baseline the car at the track and find out how close to 11s you are. Please don't turn this into a BAMA bashing thread. There's plenty of factory cars on street tires running >11's.
I thought someone like Diablomatt can also offer him a tune.Baseline the car at the track and find out how close to 11s you are.
It's not too late to swap that diablo for something more commonly used.
Diablo intune sounds great and everything, but what happens if you are not happy with your bama tune? You will be out a tuner and a tune.
A member here that works with diablo. diablomatt.Who's Diablomatt?
forgot about matt, he did work on that intake manifold shootout.I thought someone like Diablomatt can also offer him a tune.
Shortly after this https://www.americanmuscle.com/nitrous-oulet-plate-system-1114gt.html & a tune arrives. Got my tracking # this morning. When can we expect baseline numbers op!?![]()
Care to share? :cheers:I think my 11.5 combo is a little more stealthy, even with Hoosiers out back.

Thank you for the info! Definitely will be getting the GT350 intake or BOSS.Mid 11's on a street tire?
Cobra Jet Intake, or GT350 Intake. (with a good cold air intake)
Catted Longtubes
And some extremely good driving with an aggressive tune.
Likely still won't get there. Mid 11's with a street tire and an MT82 is very challenging.
Thanks again! Those Dodge boys know how to hide nitrous  But my line would be 'it's got a CAI, stock mufflers with a h-pipe, and a tuneI think my 11.5 combo is a little more stealthy, even with Hoosiers out back.
IMO, It's alot more stealthy when you say "I've got a K&N air filter, mufflers and a tune" and then say you have to use a sticky rear tire because it's a stick shift car.
Not only is nitrous alot less stealthy, but it's also not going to run 11.5 on street tires with an MT82. It will trap speed good though.
Minds always open. I always listen to what anybody has to sayPage 1, post #5.
Not trying to be nah sayer (I like the goal) but there are some smart and experienced folks responding. Whereas I would keep trying, maybe have an open mind when it comes to results.
