WANTED: 2015 GT Strut Tower Brace

The silver brace that goes from tower to tower is worthless without the black brace that goes from tower to firewall to tower. Get both or don't bother.

For me, it's for looks, so it isn't worthless. ;)

I couldn't care less about rigidity.

Doesn't the GT Premium without the PP have the back brace? Mine has that brace.

You have the entire black brace back to the firewall?

I have a black piece going to the passenger side strut tower only.

Can you take a pic of what you have? (Or I'll wait to see it on Sunday).

The only things I can think of is that they either made a mistake on mine or yours. we are going to have check out other GT non PP to see.

I can confirm that my GT Premium without the performance package and with 20" wheels has the exact same setup as draco24433's car. It has the black brace coming from the firewall on both sides. The passenger side one is harder to notice I must say though.

The mystery has been solved!

PP = black brace

Non PP + 20" rims = black brace

Non PP + any other size rims = half brace

Ditto - my 50th Anniversary Appearance Package with 19" wheels has something under the Battery cover, but it sounds suspiciously like plastic when I tap on it, not steel. I'll find out for sure when I put my gas hood struts in.

It is plastic. Here is the comparison. On the left is what you have. On the right is the full metal brace. I sanded, primed, painted, and clear-coated it... and I'll be installing it along with the Strut Tower Brace tomorrow.
