Its good that the turbo is low price and has stock appearing, but what makes me feel uncomfortable is that non video exist (except one with the 10.9sec run) how the car run on street. (2nd gear to 3thrd gear shift full throttle and so on). Im hoping to see more video from the turbo or the twin scroll when it comes out.

Never the less, good time on the run :D

Regards
Nenad
Mark (perfweld) drives this car regularly from NorCal to SoCal and even races it while he's down. His car is NOT a race car or trailer queen I can promise u that.

I am extremely interested in what this twin scroll is capable of. Me personally I'm only looking for around 430-440 as I'm on a stock motor, and also do not want to change out my torque converter. I'm excited to see the results.
Im excited to see the results as well. Ive said before that this turbo was so close to not needing a looser convertor your could taste it, but close is not enough for me, being more interested in Drag Racing, so in went the aftermarket convertor.
I think that the twin scroll will be enough of a change that everyone will be really satisfied. Its clear as day that the open scroll version of this turbo makes a lot of steam by its proven 125 mph trap speed. So to sacrifice some peak power for quicker spool is more than a fair trade off.
Ive said this before, Stock appearing turbos are the wave of the future for these cars, they make bolt on parts, smog check , dealer visits so easy. I do love the real race turbo kits that are available, and most likely will have to go that route when im seeking a 130 mph trap speed, but 125 mph and a 2k price tag is pretty appealing right now.

And don't forget law enforcement has ZERO love for us here in California. Main reason I sold my foxbody. This car can look stock as when it first came off the lot when a LEO ask to pop the hood. State ref tickets are not cheap or fun.

I completely agree with everything said here. And if the twin scroll proves to be what I'm hoping, I will definitely go after it. But for me it won't be 2k, I'll need the charge pipes for sure, not sure if I'll need the BOV if they offer it with this turbo. But with what I do know I need the price with shipping is around 2600, which is still well over 1500 cheaper than the next cheapest turbo upgrade.

I am still on the factory charge pipes, all of them. But I definitely think you need to get rid of the factory BPV and go to a blow off valve with the amount of air that this turbo moves. Dont fall into the trap of buying so many un needed parts until you have the extra cash.
In building my car, being in CA, I think about what parts im gonna have too remove for smog or a dealer visit. The only thing that stands out on my car are the 2 UPR catch cans, but they have proven on my car to be a must have, by monitoring them, the spark plugs, and with Lunds help the data logs, the car is trouble free even making this kind of power. I do not ever put a tune in the car with less boost, its set on kill all the time and on E85 gets 20.5 mpg on my long road trips.

Is this the existing St2 + twin scroll or something entirely new?

Are you running full e85 or lower blends? I didn't see a port injection kit in the pics on this thread.

Edit: Never mind, I see that your running the Speed6Performance kit in the other thread. Do you know what kind of power it put down on E30 vs full E85?

Much appreciated on the info. I'll PM you with other questions I have as well as to not clog up this particular thread.
