Have a 15 with My Ford touch and for some reason I have to turn the volume almost 3/4 of the way up for it to be some what loud.

I changed the 3.5" speakers to kickers and still the same. Just sounds clearer. lol

I find it odd because my wife's MKZ with My Ford touch will blow your brains out with the volume 3/4 turned up.

Is there something wrong with the factory amp or the MFT system?
Anything I can change?

Thanks
Steven

This was taken from the OP in the Stereo Information sticky in this sub forum. This tells me the HU is putting out half power at 80% volume. Definitely not linear.

Pre-Amp Signal Measurements - Thank you h65!
The range is 0.04 volts at 20% volume to 1.53 volts at 80% volume (and 3.1 volts at max volume) with a CD audio source. Measurement was taken from pins 7 and 8 which represent the front left signal.
