Voltage problems

Hi so I’ve had my Mustang for one year. I have a 2017 5.0. I was driving my car the other day and I noticed my voltage on my dash was reading 14.9 I don’t understand if that’s normal but I think it’s high one time it even spiked up to 15 I reset my Battery smart system and driving on a 30 minute drive it’s holding anywhere from 14.4 to 14.9 I replaced the alternator at 50,000 miles and put a new battery in it a year ago. Is this something for me to be concerned about?

Use a voltmeter and measure battrrycm weith car off should be between 12c a ndx12.5.then start cat and measure voltage agsin.now your reading alternarltor ifalternator voktage.is i over 15 might have a voltage regulatorssue had siliar issuecwith my wife's caddy service foreman testing gbthe charging system and said accept trance was 12.5 to 15.5 with their alg orithn.looked up Mustang range and it's 12.5 to 14.9.good luck.after you measure voltage a and repost. Did this only start recently? If you do a lot of short drives, the battery never gets fully charged. Try driving for an hour and see if the voltage drops back down.
If the car is garaged, get a battery maintainer (Battery Tender, Noco, etc.) to keep it in good shape.
Edit: Many auto parts stores will test your battery for free. Might be worth trying, or even check with whoever sold you that battery a year ago for possible replacement under warranty if it's dying.

I do only drive 35 mins max 5 days a week other two days it sits in my driveway and it’s never hit 14.9 or 15 so yea this is new for me. I did buy the car in November of last year, so I only had it a year replaced alternator at 50,000 miles however, I did have somebody put starlight in my car and the way that he ran it was I have to plug it into my cigarette lighter and I don’t think that’s a good idea so I unplugged it because I thought maybe that’s what’s draining it
