I'm looking at two CO PP, they are exact the same with the exceptions of voice navigation and Premier Trim; differences are about $1.2k. Honestly, I can barely notice any diffefences betwen the two, premier trim and the non. Is the voice activation really worth it?

I don't know about 1.2K but I ordered mine with the NAV and love it.

Get the Nav & the trim, you'll be glad you did ! That $400 premium trim is the most overlooked, undervalued add-ons available for the GT.

Just so you know.. the nav in case you pass and decide later you would like it.. Is bit of a different situation on Sync 3 to add.. it is expensive to add.. you have to replace the Sync module.. unlike the MyFord Touch units.. you could just program them to add it..

Odd, mine works perfectly with my voice even with the windows down and my h-pipe/muffler deletes.
Same here - key is to NOT yell at it. Seriously - my wife complains that the voice control never works in her Explorer. So I ride with her and have her try - and she yells all the commands. I talk in a normal speaking voice and viola its works like magic.

I really like the integrated NAV and think it and the premium trim is worth the cost

My vote is for it. But I travel a lot in my car. It's kind of nice being able to drive right up to a restaurant the first time you try in a strange city. Another nice feature is the ability to tell the system you want the quickest route or the shortest route. OR to see where the accident is on the interstate before you pass that exit closest to it.

I would.. it just in the end is a nice option.. you never know when you may need it.. I know we have phones.. but they die.. use data.. if we get a phone call.. Its always handy to have the nav..

If it were the MFT system.. I would say it doesn't matter we can add it.. That is actually cheaper after than new.. but Sync 3 is a different animal..

I have it. I would definitely get it. For me it works really well. Keep those eyes on the road.

I have both NAV and Trim. It is hard to decide on these options beforehand - especially when that total just keeps creeping up.

I only have talk and text on my phone! So obviously I like the in-car NAV. Plus I like the big screen. It works in remote areas where your phone will not. It has other nifty features, too. I like the weather report and weather map.

It is true that while it is hard to tell the difference with the Trim (it is because they are both black), it really is quite nice. I think the seats are more comfortable than the regular leather seats, especially in the upper back area. It gives your car a more luxury car look and feel inside.

I have both of those and they are both awesome options. The Sync 3 Nav is the best OEM Nav unit I've ever used, the Sirius Travel Link that comes along with it is cool as well. You won't regret getting those options at all.

Have you used the 8.4AN Uconnect? That is hands down the best OEM Nav/Infotainment system out there right now and there is supposed to be a new version coming out next year with AA/CP. Of course knowing FCA it will get delayed until 2020 :headbonk:
