I just picked up my car from Steeda yesterday (5 hour drive) from having a Cams, CJ, twin 69 VMP tb, with PMAS installed. Drive on interstate was fine no codes or anything. Until i hit stop and go traffic, the car threw a service wrench light and went straight into limp mode cutting all power. It was throwing codes P0556, P061A, and P2119. Had to pull over clear them and turn off car and restart car. This happened multiple times through stop and go traffic. You can feel it getting hung up in the throttle, even when decelerating. I have heard these TB's are junk and have persistent issues as these. I am guessing there is no way to fix other than sending it back and getting a different one.
What does everyone recommend to use? I already notified lund they told me to reach out to VMP but ive others i know having same issues they just send more twin 69s and one guy is on his third with same issues. Ive heard of greasing the blades too but don't know if i want to attempt that because they could deny the return if so. Any insight and/or help would be much appreciated.
