Are there any tuners out there using HP tuners for the Roush? Would we be able to flash back to the Roush tune in a warranty situation?
I believe VMP and PBD will tune with hptuners if asked

Need help!!!
Have received a custom tune for my roush phase 2 from VMP but my Ngauge dont see it as the file ends with .hpt
Have researched online and i think it should be ending with .enc.
Renamed it to .enc and now ngauge can see it but i am afraid to flash it. Does anyone have a vmp tune file and can check what the ending of the fail is? for Ngauge tuner
Thanks

I wouldn’t. File has to be saved in the correct format I believe. Renaming it could have bad consequences

I second this. Had a local guy write a tune in hpt and he had to export it out of HPTuners as an .enc before it could be used in the Ngauge.

Back in 2012 i had a brand new gt500. I bought the newest VMP blower and tons of other parts. Like 6k worth of stuff. Scheduled dyno tuning. Drove all the way there with a crap base tune. Got there and they forgot about my appt and ole Justin was watching his kid and Rebecca was going to some class. Wouldn't tune the car. Wouldn't data log for a street tune. Nothing. Wasted a lot of time and money going there. Will never rely on them again. Hope you get squared away.

I had a rocky start as well... car went into limo mode and they were at SEMA and couldn’t resolve.. I will say though that the tune I have now is extremely good. I’ve never seen a datalog file look better and the car drives better than I ever expected. Response is tough from them but they do deliver a very good product. Won’t help your car show though.... wish I could help more but I have a SCT programmer

They have to export the file in hptuners, if you try to load a renamed filed it could brick your computer.

Don’t Risk it.
