VMP SCT tuner

Just wondering if anyone else is having or has had these issues with the SCT4 with VMP tunes under regular driving conditions everything seems fine . I drop in the tune in with all stock settings minus the 93 octane and the air raid . When I accelerate hard like racing racing someone it bangs of the rev limiter And I have to let off the gas for split second for it to shift it also does it going into 3rd. So I return it back to stock and boom shifts perfect no issues what so ever under hard acceleration has anyone else had this problem at all or anything like it ? I am sure it’s the tune and I will be bringing it to there attention @vmp.

Crap tune. Good luck trying to get satisfaction from an outfit that shipped a bad tune to begin with. You'll probably have to engage the services of an actually competent tuner.

Sounds like the shift points were raised but the limiter wasn’t. Should be a simple fix.

I thought so too I raise the shift pressures and changed the Rev limiter and shifts better but still doing it

So here is a little backsl story I bought the tuner and CAI from the same car didn't know the car was a manual mine is automatic so 2 months ago I put the tune I boom check engine light the transmission lost the software because it wasn't ment for my car long story short I called they reconfigured to work with my auto after I paid to update my transmission and everything ok so after going back to stock I dropped the tune in again and now iam having this crazy shift problem told VMP now they want me to buy another one ....
