VIN # !!!

I don't know of any retail orders that have a VIN. It doesn't make that much of a difference. My car will be built the week of August 28th and will sit in a Ford lot until there is enough stock to send cars nationwide in September. Retail orders will follow by just a few weeks. At least that is what I am hearing in the M6G threads.



Ordered my EB on 5/20. It has the 50th AP and I got my VIN a week ago.



I ordered it X-Plan and it is a dealer stock order.

I'm pretty sure this is a dealer by dealer policy. Your dealer always orders ADX plans retail, but mine doesn't make that restriction and ordered it from their stock allocation on 5/21.

Depends on the dealer... some do not want to interfere with their stock orders, but if you have the stock order already filled... they just used you as a means to up their allotment is my guess... a retail order is already sold for the most part....getting the stock orders and selling as walk ins can also boost their sales.... ... it's confusing how all the allotments work... don't care... my car gets here when it gets here unfortunate though some of my plans fell through as how to make a down payment.... I hate 401k can't even access my money when I want to!

I'm not sure why he did it, other than I had been bugging him for two months previously about the order and had made the appointment on 5/20 even before they realized the car would be available for sale that day (Thanks M6G Gurus!) I went in that day and had to encourage him to keep looking until we finally found it under the concepts menu. I think he then felt obligated to find a way to get me the car in the initial order :shrug: Ultimately, I ended up making the first 2015 Mustang order in NE Florida

quick question about the MFT. Am I correct in assuming you can dim the screen to nearly not visible? Bright lights at night are a problem for me.

Glad I'm not the only one :lol: I freak out when my wife turns on the over head at night :rant:

I had Tricia check yesterday and mine has not been scheduled yet. She said maybe it will be in a few weeks. Each day that goes by it gets a little easier to wait though. I have accepted the fact that it will probably be October before I get my car. At this point I would be happy with just a magazine review and some horsepower numbers.

Yes, the serial is 500268, 0268 of 1964 will be on the dash. If you look at your whole number 50 is for the 50th Yr, the 5 before the 50 nets you a 550 (the platform) and then your serial number. This is the first time serial #s have matched sequence numbers.
