Thank you for your service not just for your country, but for my country of Germany as well.
I owe it to you that I could grow up in peace and freedom here in Bavaria.
It was a servicemember from the (sadly closed) Ferris Barracks in Erlangen that took me as a 7 year old boy for a ride in his 1970 Mustang and gave me the motivation to work hard and pursue my dream of owning a Mustang some day.

Don't forget to submit your DD214 to the DMV for your veterans plate! You've earned it and sometimes cops won't even pull you over if they were going to for the smallest infraction.
