hello all,

I had my 2019 GT for about 3 weeks now. I have approximately 400 miles. Recently i have observed and felt wrinkles on 12-3 position. I have attached the photos. Is this normal? I dont recall feeling any wrinkles when i test drove the car. On the bottom and 9-12, steering wheel is buttery smooth. Should I take my car in for steering defect?

Yeah I've had my car for almost a year and the steering wheel is still buttery smooth all around. I'd take it in.

Mine has just starting doing this as well (2021) but the wrinkles are across the wheel, different than yours, but same concept. Appreciate you posting this, I will reach out to the dealer (sigh...). I'll get one of the buttons replaced at the same time, as the black plastic is worn through.

Definitely not normal.

Does the car sit facing the sun a lot? Are you using lotions or excessive hand disinfectant?

The previous owner probably used hand sanitizer by the bucket.
