Just curious what mods you have done? Doesn't seem like too many vert guys out there are modding. Can you please post up your 1/4 time, hp, any mods you have done?

Also looking for what wing you have put on if any. Most wings don't claim to fit the vert for some reason.

the shape of the decklid and rear quarter panels are different compared to the fastback/coupes. Some of the pedestal spoilers like Steeda/Cervini, probably just don't fit right on convertible due to the shape of the convertible decklid.

However some spoilers like the MMD Foose and V-Series, and the CDC Outlaw fit the convertible. The one thing you need to watch out for with aftermarket spoilers on verts is the factory antenna. Once the trunk is open all of the way up, it may come in contact with the antenna. Heard some people just cut off a piece of the factory antenna for clearance.

I haven't done much except a Ford Racing Touring catback and I have a set of staggered MRR 350 wheels wrapped in 275/325's on the way. I am going to boost the car probably once the 3/36,000 is up. I've tried to pull the trigger on almost every spoiler available, but just can't completely fall in love with any of them....BTW I noticed you're in FL. and you have the Rousch SC. Did you install it or have a dealer/shop do it?
Oh, one other reason some spoilers won't work is they would cover the 3rd brake light on verts.

Dealer (Elder Ford) installed it. I spruced it up a bit needed more power lol.

I'm with you; I REALLY like the California Special and Cervini spoilers, but supposedly they don't fit. I'm hoping to get my car into the 9's, and the back of the car doesn't at all scream 9 second car lol!!!!

I also plan to put a roll cage in it one day, but gonna have to try to custom fab something that doesn't make the rear seats dangerous for the kids, and doesn't take away from the appeal of the car when the roof is down. One day!

I really want this car to be an amazing all out performer.

My biggest let down so far is how effing much the car has depreciated since I bought it. I still owe 53k and I'm seeing people sell their roush supercharged mustangs for 35k!!!!

I wouldn't worry too much about depreciation at this point unless you need to get rid of the car in a hurry....I'll have over 60K into mine once the SC goes on but I 'll keep it for a good long time. It's actually our company car. My wife drives it back and forth to work(15 miles round trip) and I drive when I want to have some fun on the weekend or evenings. We've had it 14 months and just turned 9,000 miles. It probably won't ever see the dragstrip or road course, I just like having something to do some nice hard 2nd,3rd & 4th gear pulls when the time is right and cruise to some local car meets/shows every now and then.
You really need a roll cage with what you have now...Don't they kick you off after you go a certain trap speed?
Somebody else mentioned the fact that our body lines are different than the fastbacks and it makes a big deal with the spoilers because I love everyone that I see on a fastback....I just can't seem to make up my mind on the verts.

Yeah I'm already over 75k in mine =/ Not even counting anymore. I don't hard core drag race, but I do hope to hit a 9.99 or below in this car, and then I'll be a casual there.

I'm surely supposed to have a roll cage, but so far I have slid by somehow.

I just looked over your mod list and you certainly have a bad ass car.:headbang: As far as the money goes, oh well, a lot of people spend that much or more on something brand new but damn sure won't perform like your car will..

Yeah just sucks for me that things that need to be "tailored" to verts don't really seem to get made because people apparently aren't modding verts is the reason I made this post to see who is.

The flip side is frieking cool because people see me on the road and often underestimate me. I shy away from street racing, but REALLY hate when people ride my bumper. I got a fix for that :eyebulge:

I told myself I wasn't going to do anything to this car but that's a difficult thing to do, isn't it? :D

Just recently swapped my steering wheel. Now I'm looking to replace my exhaust. I was leaning towards the Ford Racing Sport Catback but I realized it's not legal here in CA. :(

I have a 2015 Premium Competition Orange Vert.

No engine mods but I lowered it with the Eibach Pro Kit which included springs and sway bars.

My very first mod was the CDC Light Bar. I love the way verts look with these. Kinda helps to visually balance the car as verts seem to look very 'front' heavy, if that makes sense.

I did the Roush black axle backs with the Ford Racing X Pipe resonator delete. I really enjoy the sound and there is basically zero drone on the highway. Sounds slightly louder than stock on the road until you hammer it. Then it's pretty wild.

I went with the CDC Outlaw rear wing because it seemed to be just enough to balance the mods out from front to rear without being too crazy.

For emblems I went with the Tri-bar pony for the front - mounted so that it looks like it's floating in the Lethal Performance Grille Delete. On the sides I did the Howling Coyote. In the back I was unsure what to do and tried a few things. I ended up getting a blank panel and matted it out. Then had a Ford Racing decal cut in orange to match the car. Worked out very well, imo.

I ditched the fog lights and went with the JLT brake duct kit from Lethal Performance.

I tinted the windows and the front corner lamps.

The wheels are Niche GT5 20x10's all the way around with 275/35's front and 305/35's rear - MT Street Comps.

I have a hood decal on there now (trimmed the front a bit cause I scratched it). But I think I'm gonna do some stripes this spring. Waiting for some samples from Big Worm and see what combo I'm gonna go with.

Here's some pics...
