So , who uses a foam cannon to wash their GT500.
Robert: I have one but the only times when I use it are:

1) A very dirty car

2) Prior to claying the paint.

Otherwise, I've found that it's more trouble than it's worth.

CL: Didn't mean to pimp you about the truck, I was just saying that the OCD "waxers" here consider pressure washers to be part of the deal. :-)

I was pointing out that this thread is not tied in any direct way to the GT500
Thank you Captain Obvious

I guess I will spoil the party and ask what this has to do with the GT500?
You asked and got an answer. I would have been perfectly fine leaving it at that. But no....
So again, here it is in a nutshell. So admit it or not, you made a rhetorical post that seemed to question an established and widely well liked members intent. Kent is the guy who got fellow members through dark times during the GT500 manufacturing and shipping fiasco with his humor and witt. Here we find ourselves in another dark time and quite frankly I appreciate his posts and the laugh they bring from time to time. Your question was more than a question. It was a statement that probably shouldn't have been made. And now you want to argue about it. I'm finished arguing with you kid.

I happen to be a 21 year old
I think it's something more like this.

Thanks, Tom.
Remember who the guy was who almost begged you to stick around after you took delivery of your CFTP GT500?

The place wouldn't be the same without you.

So , who uses a foam cannon to wash their GT500. My son swears by it. Not sure if 100 percent sold.
Same boat here, not sure of the hype of the foam cannon....

I was compelled to buy a really nice Honda Gas Motor (with an attached pressure washer). Would have bought the Ford if I saw it, just because. :like:

I use an excellent Foam Gun for 2 washes, and then use a 2-bucket system with a new microfiber mitt for the 3rd followed by a quick ceramic polish. Then I dry with only the freshest, cleanest, sweetest smelling compressed air. The goal is to minimize touching the body of the car. I never wipe the protective film or ceramic coating dry. Now the CF wheels and brake calipers are a completely separate OC conversation. :giggle:

Yes, it always takes a short time to set up, but then it becomes an excellent beer drinking opportunity.

BTW, the Foam Gun is great for making short work in washing my tall Bronco, F250 and Harley Davidson Trucks. Pressure washer, foam and a long handled brush.

If I could only get my wife to help, we'd be a TEAM! (She does bring me beers, though...) :inlove:

Glad foaming is working out better for you than I, Ron. Sounds like you too are even more OCD than yours truly. <chuckling>
